September 25, 2007: The State Information Technology Consortium (SITC) announced that it has been awarded a $2.9 million contract by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide technical assistance to the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). The contract calls for multiple services including: technical support for development of a Model Tribal Child Support Enforcement System (MTCSES); event management support for multiple Federal, State and international collaboration efforts for information exchange; technical training; and other technology services to improve child support collections and medical support for children and families nationwide.
SITC president Robert Glasser stated, “SITC has been successful in providing similar services to OCSE for the last five years and looks forward to continuing this long-term partnership. It’s a privilege to support technology initiatives that truly can make a positive difference in a child’s life.”
SITC is a non-profit organization that provides technology and collaboration services to federal, state, and tribal government agencies to promote efficiency in human services programs.
